Most of Castle Blinds fabrics can be joined. If you place an order and the roll width of the fabric is too small, a member of the Order Processing team will contact you to let you know if the fabric needs joined or turned.
For Fabric Box Panel Blinds, you can either pick the size of the panels that you would like and Castle Blinds will advise you on whether or not you have provided enough of an overlap on each panel to give the ultimate linear look. Otherwise, you can provide us with either a window size or recess size and we will calculate the number of panels that we would recommend along with the size of each panel.
Extension brackets act as a great solution for windows which have bulky handles or a deep recess. They allow the blind to be extended out so that the blind hangs with ease. Extension brackets are available for all Castle Blinds products.
Castle Blinds recommendation would be to softly diffuse the light. ‘Uniview’ a roller screen fabric is designed with this in mind. It has between 1% and 3% openness in the weave allowing your room to stay bright and airy, but excellent at omitting glare on computer screens and TV screens alike.
The Fabric Box Romans are made with roller fabric using a unique no sew system, which gives a great alternative to soft cloth Roman blinds as there is no visible stitching.
Unfortunately, fabric blinds can not be washed in a washing machine as they are at risk of shrinking. However, all stitch bonded fabrics can be.
All Castle Blinds products are designed with safety in mind, and provide standard or optional safety features. As standard, each of our blinds with cords come with a safety cleat as an option to keep the cord out of the reach of children in a neat and tidy way. View the Child Safety section for further information on available safety products.
We offer different blinds with a reflective coating which allow rooms to stay cool in the summer and warmer in the winter months. This will reduce the amount of money that you spend every year on heating and cooling methods.
